We are proud to share one of our most ambitious and meaningful projects to date — a collaboration with Karan Aujla and his creative team for the launch of his new album. When Amrit, Karan’s creative director, approached us with the request to create a sculpture of Karan’s head for the album’s cover art, we knew this would be something extraordinary.
For the first time, our team took on the challenge of crafting a hyper-realistic human sculpture — and the journey was as creative as it was intense.
The process demanded one month of dedicated work from three of our most talented artists and engineers:
- Starting with a 3D scan of Karan’s face
- Detailed digital post-production to integrate unique design elements — including symbolic scratches on one side of the face
- 3D printing individual components and precise manual assembly
- Hand-finishing, texturing, and painting to achieve an antique marble effect
- Accenting the piece with golden-rose decorative scratches to bring the narrative to life
With a tight deadline and no room for compromise, every step was driven by passion and precision to ensure the sculpture would be ready for the album release photoshoot and video.
The final result is a striking, oversized sculpture — a fusion of classical artistry and modern engineering, embodying the deep philosophy behind Karan’s album. Beneath the marble-like exterior with its golden-rose marks lies a powerful metaphor: the inner child, dreams, and aspirations that shape who we are.
We are extremely proud to have been part of this project and deeply grateful to Karan Aujla and his team for trusting us with their vision. This collaboration reflects everything Custom Engineered Arts stands for — where art meets innovation, and dreams become reality.
On August 22, Karan Aujla officially launched his new album, with the sculpture we created standing as one of its central symbols — a testament to creativity, persistence, and the power of storytelling through art.
